About Our Parish

Mission Statement

St. Philip the Apostle Parish is a large, diverse Roman Catholic Community, a family of faith rooted in the Eucharist, inspired and strengthened by the Holy Spirit to:

  • live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • be rooted in prayer and in the celebration of the sacraments.
  • respond to and grow in God's great commandment of love.
  • celebrate the joys of our community.
  • be a compassionate and forgiving family of faith.
  • be supportive to one another in pain and sorrow.
  • reach out to others in need.
  • discern new directions for the needs of the local and global church.

Our spirit and attitude is to always be that of John 3:30.

"Jesus must increase, while I must decrease."

St. Philip the Apostle Parish is located in the
Diocese of Paterson
under the guidance of Bishop Arthur J. Serratelli
