Servers should be mature enough to understand their responsibilities and to carry them out with appropriate reverence.
Servers should have a strong desire to serve at the Altar of Our Lord.
Servers should be in the fourth grade or older, and should have already made First Holy Communion.
Expectations
— All servers are expected to be at the Church 15 minutes before Mass begins.
— All servers are expected to fulfill their assigned times to serve.
— All servers are expected to find their own replacement if they cannot make Mass.
— All servers are expected to wear appropriate clothing. No sneakers.
— All servers are expected to sign in when they arrive.
— All servers are expected to greet the priests and anyone else in the Sacristy.
— All servers are expected to pay attention to the priest during Mass.
— All servers are expected to know the prayers and responses and be able to join in at the appropriate times.
— All servers are expected to hang up their vestments after Mass.
— All servers are expected to attend one monthly training/formation meeting.
