Opening Prayer

Spirit of Wisdom, preside over my thoughts,
words and actions, from this hour till the

Spirit of Understanding, enlighten and teach me.

Spirit of Fortitude, strengthen my weakness.
Spirit of Knowledge, instruct my ignorance.

Spirit of Piety, make me fervent in good works.

The Spirit Interacts with Us

This session continues our discussion on spiritual gifts. In additio to the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit discussed in Session 11, there are many other spiritual gifts mentioned in the Bible. These gifts, called charisms, are different and tend to be a bit mysterious to people.       

One of the places we read about these charisms is in Paul's letter to the Corinthians.
